Applying for assistance does not guarantee funding. Any assistance offered is subject to the charity’s eligibility requirements, available funds, and written approval. Your written award notice will identify the amount and expenses approved for payment. Do not assume that an award covers all costs, including consultations, anesthesia, hospital or facility charges, medications, travel, follow-up care, complications, or revision procedures. Before incurring expenses, confirm the scope of the award and ask your providers and insurer about any remaining costs and available coverage.
Charitable assistance is not health insurance and does not replace or waive any rights you may have to insurance benefits or other assistance.
