RAC helps cancer survivors access reconstructive care when insurance doesn't cover the cost. We believe restoring confidence is just as important as treating cancer because reconstruction is more than cosmetic.

Reconstruction is part of healing for many types of cancer, and RAC supports survivors beyond breast cancer.

Reconstruction to RAC

At 26 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have a double mastectomy.

I quickly realized that surviving cancer and rebuilding my confidence were two different battles. 

Insurance didn’t cover all of my reconstruction, and I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to feel like yourself after cancer.

I created RAC so that no survivor is denied reconstructive care because of financial limitations. I believe feeling confident after cancer matters too.
